Golden drops of sunshine
Oozing through the leaves
Spreading like warm honey
Autumn’s amber heaves
As the rays of hope mellow
The vapid summer heat
I bask in their warming glow
Enchanted by their lazy beat
Shimmering liquid yellow orb
Gaze arrested by the drops of dew
Quivering their lips uncertainly
On blossoms, reminiscing rendezvous
My thoughts, they wander wistfully
Back and forth on seasons’ trails
Caught in the skipped moments amid
Summer exhales and winter inhales
Smiles tug insistently at my heart
As I spy memories behind misty veils
Each ray of the blushing sunrise
Tells its own exquisite tales…..
